A well organised and friendly race....with 3 brutal hills!

Great medal!

Fantastic race

Hill climbs were more than I thought, a tough first race for beginners but a great challenge nonetheless! Will definitely be back to beat my time next year.

Superior 10k race

This is my second year doing the Longleat 10k I’m so glad I returned for a second time rain again but not torrential great Marshalls great company amazing medal and t shirt that I preordered at a decent price of £12 hills kill me every time I made a 4 minute improvement on my time last year so will be back next year to hopefully improve again

challenging but worth it

Good location, lack of marshals at start and during event may have left more novice runners feeling vulnerable.

Great location and route for a challenging run.
The start line seemed to be a bit disconnected from where runners and spectators gathered before the run, which lead to a rush for the runners to get to the start line in time. Maybe more direction from officials or clear signage would alleviate this.
There seemed to be a lack of marshals on the course which surprised me especially when some parts were quite a struggle for runners. In my opinion there should’ve been marshals at the top of the steep hills just in case more novice runners encountered some difficulties.
The finish line area could benefit with stricter crowd control especially regards to the finish funnel to ensure children did not run out in front of the finishers.
All in all it was an enjoyable run but could benefit with a few organisational tweaks.

Fun, hilly & good medal

I thought overall it was a great event however I did think there were a few things that could be improved:
- kink the start/have waves every 30 secs or so. The first mile you couldn’t do at anything by easy pace as it was way too congested.
- Better parking to allow cars to park more quickly to save a big queue to get in.
- More finish snacks- only a bag of crisps wasn’t great compared to other events.
- Bit more atmosphere on course- marshals were all great & I don’t know whether a venue requirement but some form of course entertainment even if just a boombox with some music on for example.
- Make it more obvious where to find results- I had a google and couldn’t find them and this was hours after the race had finish.
- Have more cafes open as queue was really long at the one that was open.

Well organised event

Sadly my time didn’t get recorded so I don’t know if there was a problem with my timing chip but it was a great day with lots of helpful and friendly Marshall’s

My first 10k and I loved it, thank you!

PA system could only be heard by the front runners. Nothing could be heard by the runners waiting further back at the start. Exiting the event to a long time, along a narrow country lane.

Good event, make sure you've done your hill training! Leaving the car park needs a lot of patience!

Challenging race

Course that has a bit of everything. It’s hilly & some of those are steep. But also some downhill parts too. Nice finish with view of Longleat house.
A little unorganised at the start with both 10K & 2 miles in together which meant a congested first mile.
Overall a good event.

Great, but think the 2mile would be better run before the 10km.My sons result also didn't get recorded on the results page...not sure why. Thanks
