The start was a bit of a struggle. I’m not sure if people thought the first inflatable gate or 2nd inflatable gate was the start line.

Can I get a new farnborough half marathon bubble hat mines had it and I’ll buy a new one

Needed more toilets and at least one more coffee van.

Well-organised bag drop, start and finish. Course was good although not quite as 'relatively flat' as advertised: I would say it has some 'undulations'. Plenty of friendly marshals. Nice goodies at the finish.
One disappointment - 'We will sign the walking route to the start/finish from the town centre' didn't seem to be the case. A number of us were heading up a dead-end road until a kind local resident turned us round.

Needs toilets on the course

Car parking became an issue due to long queues to pay as there was no “pay by app” option as specified in the pre race notes.

Route not as advertised, even though I emailed for the route in advance. Very congested once over the start line, runners came to a stop once across the timing mat. Concerns were raised about one of our club members at the finish to a marshal, to be told give her some water and take her home she will be fine, to end up in the ambulance minutes later.

My very first half marathon, which I picked because it was flat - warning - it is not. However that did not stop me gaining a surprising time (old person). Also as the numbers are limited it means there is no stress to bag drop/loo visit/ and all close to the start line. Loved it.

Not overly impressed with goodie bag… medal fab… rather have just a teeshirt!

At the start area, get some porta urinals to help speed the flow of people - this will free up more portaloos, which could then be divided for males and females as appropriate to the attendance rates
