The course could've been better signposted towards the end and the final stop should be closer to the finish line. Otherwise it was a truly brilliant day out, thank you!

Water stations ran low on water which was a real worry as it was a very hot day and I was told the water was being rationed! Disappointing when this is pretty vital, other than that a really well run event and loved the disco at the end. Would def do again but will bring my own water on the run.

A really great event which we enjoyed a lot. Could have done with better organisation at the drinks stations to provide better flow at the later ones when the start waves had started to clump together - spread the tables out a bit more to encourage flow?

Very hilly so if entering this, you need to be prepared, but the after party is awesome!

Great event, simple instructions and a vibe to match a party. A few things to improve would be non-alcoholic wine for non drinkers, maybe a little more food on the stops as these were greatly positioned and not too far apart. Better first aid - I was stung by a hornet and stumbled to the nearest stop to be told nothing here … move on! The finishers meal was great as well as the atmosphere and DJ… looking forward to 2026.

Loved it all. Plenty of walking up hills and chatting to really lovely people. The fact most were not taking the event or themselves too seriously was fantastic. The wine stations were brilliant and scoffing an onion bhaji while sipping a crisp white was a unique half marathon experience. I have told everyone about it that I can!

Great atmosphere and welcoming for all levels of ability.
We were blessed with perfect weather and amazing conditions, running through the vineyards with so many brightly coloured costumes was brilliant fun. Will definitely return.

Another fantastic day running at a 209 event. Always well run(pardon the pun). The Bacchus is always a fun day and as usual, lovely weather.

Absolutely loved this run despite the ridiculous hills! One of the most beautiful runs I’ve ever done.

The event is fun, friendly and such a good event to get people started on half marathons. The scenery is lovely and the atmosphere is the most positive and friendly of all races. We started for the dance this year which was a blast.
However, we have been a few times now and although the price is the same, the food is getting worse. There used to be doughnuts, éclairs, brownies, a selection of cheeses. One of the stops this time we're chocolate cranberries... it was pitiful and absolutely not value for money. Felt cheated. Add to it that the queues were poor, the distance was not a half marathon and some of the staff were quite aggressive - no "hello" just "only one" - to the point one of our group didn't accept the drink as they felt so pressured. It's a real shame as this has always been such a fun event. This time, it felt a bit like cattle eating scraps.

It was a really good event which we really enjoyed however we couldn't believe there was no water station at the halfway mark. It was a very hot day and this meant some of us struggled needlessly. There were also some inconsistencies between the paper information and the information on the website

Course was confusing at times and would have been helpful to have stewards at those points. Food was not great for veggies and exactly the same as two years ago. Some paths very narrow and some signs unclear if for 10k or half ( colour coded ones were ok)
